SeaSafari Tours aboard our passenger RIB ‘Tystie’ from Lower Town Harbour, Fishguard.
Come and join us for an exciting and informative guided ‘Wildlife Sea Safari’ boat trip. Our ultra-manoeuvrable ex special forces RIB ‘Tystie’ will take you to see the breathtaking North Pembrokeshire Coast and Wildlife (Dolphins, Porpoise, Seals and Sea Birds) with a variety of tour options available. Operating from the picturesque Lower Town Harbour in Fishguard (where they filmed Dylan Thomas ‘Under Milk Wood’) with car parking and toilet facilities available.
Our SeaSafari wildlife watching trips are suitable for the whole family (see our T&C’s regarding medical /physical fitness requirements). Whilst the RIB enables us to transit rapidly between sites, manoeuvre swiftly and access areas where other vessels might struggle, we must stress that the focus for us on SeaSafari is the amazing Pembrokeshire coastline and wildlife…. rather than an out and out thrill ride.
Our standard SeaSafari trip is 1 hour long and the route we take /places we visit will be dictated by conditions on the day. We can take up to a maximum of 10 passengers, and will run with a minimum of 6. All necessary safety gear is provided (as well as a full and detailed safety briefing).
Longer /special trips can be arranged….please call us to discuss your requirements.
Pricing – 1 hour SeaSafari
£16 children (we determine children as people aged 14 and below, all of whom must be accompanied by an adult)
We can’t promise you will see all of the amazing species this beautiful stretch of coast has to offer, but we can assure you of our best endeavors to give you a truly fantastic experience!
We will ask for children passengers’ ages when taking bookings, and will always endeavor to match parties to suitable conditions, wherever possible. We want you to enjoy your trip out with us, so may cancel trips at very short notice if the conditions dictate.
Being an open boat you should come prepared to get a bit wet whilst making passage (waterproof bags for cameras /electrical equipment are a very good idea!) Wet weather gear, and warm clothes (even on a sunny day) are a must…..although we can supply suitable waterproof jackets and trousers should you forget. We’d also ask that you wear non-marking, soft bottomed shoes (which you also don’t mind getting wet!)
Launching from Lower Town, Fishguard, Pembrokeshire
Parking / Meeting the boat
We would request that you park in one of the Pembrokeshire County Council Car Parks either side of the old bridge in Lower Town and walk down to the end of the quayside (toilets signposted half way along), where you will see one of our ‘Razorbill RIB Charter’ 4×4 vehicles. We will meet you with the boat ‘Tystie’ on the slipway in front of the Quay wall, where our crew will assist you with your life-jackets and embarkation etc.
